Expedited Delivery
Expedited Courier Service in Georgia
Direct point-to-point transport for mission-critical shipments.
DSD Courier provides expedited courier service across Georgia for shipments that cannot wait for a parcel network. Your load gets an exclusive-use cargo van and goes point to point, from your dock to the receiver, the same day.

What we handle
Expedited work is defined by the deadline, not the industry. If it has to be somewhere today and a standard carrier will deliver tomorrow, it belongs here. Typical loads fit in a cargo van — from a single envelope to several pallets.
- Line-down production parts
- Signed contracts, bids and legal filings
- Trade show and event materials
- Replacement IT hardware and servers
- Retail stock transfers between stores
- Missed-carrier rescues and reshipments
- Prototype and sample deliveries
- After-hours and weekend urgent runs
How it works
Speed in expedited delivery comes from removing steps, not from driving faster. A parcel network moves your shipment through pickups, sorting hubs and delivery routes; we skip all of that. The process is the same at 8 a.m. on a Tuesday and at 9 p.m. on a Saturday, and it starts the moment you send the details.
- 1
Request a pickup
Send the pickup address, destination, shipment size and the time it needs to arrive. We reply by email with a price and a pickup window.
- 2
Exclusive-use vehicle dispatched
A cargo van is assigned to your shipment alone. It does not pick up anyone else's freight along the way.
- 3
Point-to-point transport
The driver goes straight from pickup to delivery. You can follow progress with real-time tracking instead of waiting on a status update.
- 4
Delivery confirmed
We record who received the shipment and when, and send confirmation so you can tell your customer it has landed.
Planning a direct run, from metro hops to longer drives
Expedited means one shipment, one driver, no consolidation. Once a request comes in, we confirm the pickup window, the hard deadline at the destination and anything that affects the vehicle: weight, dimensions, pallet or loose boxes, and whether a liftgate or dock is available. From there the driver goes from your door to the receiver without stopping for other customers' freight.
Inside the metro that might be a contract that has to reach a closing table in Buckhead before noon, a replacement server part for a data closet in Alpharetta, or a bid package that must be stamped at a Gwinnett County office before the deadline. Statewide runs cover longer drives, such as production parts to a plant near Athens, legal documents to a Macon office, materials to a job site in Rome, or a part for a customer near the Tennessee or Alabama border.
Each run ends with a delivery time and a recipient signature. For longer drives we tell you the expected arrival before the driver leaves, so your receiving team is ready. If the deadline cannot be met because of distance or traffic, we say so up front instead of promising a time we cannot hit.
Who we serve
Expedited customers tend to contact us once, in a crisis, and then keep us on file for the next one. They come from every sector that ships physical goods.
Manufacturers and plant managers
Parts that keep a line running, moved between suppliers and plants before a shift is lost.
Law firms and title companies
Originals that must be filed or signed in person before a deadline.
Logistics and 3PL teams
Recovery runs when a scheduled carrier misses a pickup or a shipment is misrouted.
IT and facilities departments
Replacement hardware delivered to an office or data room the same day it fails.
What these customers have in common is a moment where the normal way of shipping fails them: a carrier misses a pickup, a part arrives broken, a deadline moves up. In those moments they need someone who answers, gives a straight price and can be at the door soon. Some later move regular volume to a scheduled route once they see how it runs.
Coverage area
Expedited service covers the full metro and reaches well past it. Inside the 20 metro cities below we can usually pick up quickly; for points across Georgia within about 100 miles of Atlanta, we run direct statewide trips. Common long runs include trips to Athens, Macon, Rome and the Georgia–Tennessee and Georgia–Alabama border areas, as long as they fall within that range. We quote these individually because distance, timing and vehicle size all affect the price. If the shipment needs to go further, tell us anyway and we will be honest about whether we are the right fit.

Why DSD
When a delivery is urgent, the questions are simple: when can you pick it up, how long will it take, and how will I know it arrived? The answers depend on how the service is built. These three choices are why our expedited runs arrive when we say they will. None of them depend on luck or on a particular driver having a good day.
Exclusive-use cargo vans
Your shipment is the only one on board, so nothing else can delay it.
No hub, no transfer
Point-to-point means the shipment is never sorted or handed between trucks, which removes the usual places freight gets lost.
You can see it move
Real-time tracking and an email confirmation at delivery mean you are not waiting for a call to find out what happened.
Don't Let a Delivery Delay Slow Down Your Business.
Tell us about the shipment and we'll come back with pricing and pickup timing.
