Auto Parts Courier Service in Atlanta

Parts Delivered. Repairs Moving. Customers Back on the Road.

DSD Courier is an auto parts courier service in Atlanta for shops, dealers and distributors that lose money every hour a car sits on a lift waiting for a part. We run hot-shot deliveries for single urgent orders and scheduled loops for regular parts traffic.

What we handle

Parts come in every shape: a sensor in a small box, a bumper cover that will not fit in a sedan, a transmission on a pallet. We match the vehicle to the load and move it between the counter and the bay without detours.

  • Dealer-to-dealer parts transfers
  • Warehouse-to-shop hot-shot orders
  • Body panels, bumpers and glass
  • Engines, transmissions and core returns
  • Tires and wheel assemblies
  • Diagnostic tools and loaner equipment
  • Fleet maintenance parts for service yards
  • Paint, materials and shop supplies

How it works

Parts departments are busy, and the last thing a counter needs is a courier who slows them down. Our drivers know how a parts pickup works: arrive with the order number, check the part, sign and go. The process below applies whether you send us one urgent order a month or several runs every day, and regular lanes can be set up so the driver simply shows up at agreed times.

  1. 1

Call out the part and the bay

Send the pickup counter, the destination shop and the order number. Tell us if the part is oversized so we send the right vehicle.

  2. 2

    Counter pickup

Our driver picks up from the parts department or warehouse dock and checks the part number against your order before leaving.

  3. 3

    Hot-shot run to the shop

The part goes straight to the service drive or receiving door. Your advisor can watch the delivery move and give the customer an honest time.

  4. 4

Cores and returns on the way back

Need a core or a wrong part sent back? We can pick it up on the same trip so credits are not left sitting in a corner of the shop.

How a hot-shot parts run keeps a bay moving

Most automotive requests come from a service advisor or parts manager with a car on the lift and a part at another location: a sister dealership, a regional warehouse or an aftermarket supplier. Send us the part number, the pickup counter, the receiving contact and the size of the box. Knowing whether it is a sensor in a padded envelope or a bumper cover that needs flat space determines which vehicle takes the job.

The driver picks up at the parts counter, checks the part number on the label against the request, and goes straight to your service drive. Large or awkward items such as transmissions, cylinder heads, doors, windshields and wheel-and-tire sets get strapped down so they arrive without new damage. You receive the delivery time and the name of the person who signed, which helps when warranty or claim paperwork depends on dates.

Dealer groups often move parts between stores in the morning and again in the afternoon. Independent repair shops, collision centers and fleet maintenance yards order one-off runs when a supplier cannot deliver the same day. Core returns, rebuilt units headed back to a remanufacturer, and diagnostic tools loaned between locations move the same way.

Who we serve

Our automotive customers are on both sides of the parts counter — the people who sell parts and the people waiting to install them.

Dealership parts and service departments

Transfers between franchise stores and urgent orders for vehicles under warranty repair.

Independent repair and collision shops

Same-day parts from distributors so a car leaves the lift today instead of tomorrow.

Parts distributors and jobbers

Overflow capacity when your own drivers are already out, and longer runs your trucks do not cover.

Fleet and equipment service yards

Parts for commercial vans, trucks and equipment that need to be back in service.

Many of our automotive customers use us two ways. Routine transfers between stores or from a distributor run on a fixed schedule, while the true emergencies — the wrong part delivered, a comeback, a fleet vehicle that has to be on the road tomorrow — go out as one-off hot-shot runs. Both are billed simply, and you only pay for the runs you use.

Coverage area

Parts traffic in the metro flows along I-75, I-85 and I-285, and much of it runs between dealer rows and distributors in Cobb and Gwinnett counties. We run pickups and deliveries in all 20 cities below, including the Marietta and Lawrenceville corridors where many shops cluster. Shops on the edges of the metro, from Newnan in the south to Cumming and Gainesville in the north, are covered too, so a dealer group with stores spread across several counties can use one courier for every transfer. Longer runs within about 100 miles of Atlanta are available as expedited trips when a part is only stocked at a distant location.

Why DSD

Every hour a car sits waiting for a part is an hour your bay is not earning and a customer is without a vehicle. Shops that switch to a dedicated parts courier usually do it after one too many days lost to a slow delivery. Here is what keeps them with us.

Built for hot-shot speed

A single urgent order gets its own vehicle and goes direct, which is what makes same-hour part delivery possible.

The right vehicle for the part

Oversized or heavy parts are planned for up front, so nothing gets refused at the counter because it will not fit.

Live status for your service advisors

Real-time tracking lets your front desk give customers a real pickup time instead of a guess.

Keep Your Parts Moving. Keep Your Business Moving.
