Same-Day Courier Service in Atlanta

Inside the I-285 Perimeter, a delivery that looks like ten minutes on a map can take an hour once the Downtown Connector backs up. DSD Courier runs same-day deliveries across Atlanta, from Downtown and Midtown up to Buckhead and south to Hartsfield-Jackson, with one driver taking your shipment straight to the door.

What we deliver in Atlanta

Atlanta's mix of corporate headquarters, hospitals, courts and logistics firms means the work is varied. On a typical day our drivers carry documents between law offices, lab samples between clinics, parts recovered from airport cargo terminals and urgent stock moving between stores. Each shipment rides with an exclusive-use vehicle, so a Midtown pickup is not held up by someone else's stop in Decatur.

  • Legal documents and court filings
  • Medical specimens and pharmacy orders
  • AOG and air cargo recoveries
  • Office equipment and IT hardware
  • Retail and restaurant supply runs
  • Event and convention materials

Intown streets and business districts on our routes

We work the whole city, but these are the areas where most of our Atlanta pickups and drops happen.

Downtown
Government offices, the Fulton County courthouse area and the convention district around Centennial Olympic Park.
Midtown
Office towers along Peachtree Street and West Peachtree, plus the Georgia Tech area.
Buckhead
Corporate offices, law firms and medical buildings along Peachtree Road and Lenox Road.
West Midtown
Design studios, showrooms and light industrial space off Howell Mill Road.
Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park
Mixed-use buildings and small businesses near the BeltLine Eastside Trail.
Airport area
Air cargo facilities and logistics operators around Hartsfield-Jackson, south of the city.

Pickups, loading docks and building access in Atlanta

Much of an intown run is spent at the building, not on the road. High-rise offices in Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead often route couriers to a loading dock or a ground-floor security desk, and some require the recipient's name and suite before the driver is let upstairs. Include those details with the request, along with the dock entrance or parking instructions, and the driver can go straight to the right door.

For hospitals and large campuses, tell us the building and department, not just the street address. For airport-area deliveries near Hartsfield-Jackson, name the cargo building or receiving contact. Every Atlanta delivery closes with a time and a signature from the person who accepted it.

Atlanta jobs we handle most often

A filing that has to beat the clerk's cutoff. A Buckhead firm finishes a document after lunch and it needs to be at a Downtown courthouse before close. We pick it up and deliver it directly, and you get a confirmation with the time it arrived.

A part waiting at the airport. A replacement component lands as air cargo at Hartsfield-Jackson and a crew across town is waiting on it. We recover it from the cargo area and drive it straight to the destination — see our AOG courier service.

Specimens between in-town clinics. Medical offices in Midtown and along Peachtree Road send samples to labs several times a day. These often move to a scheduled loop on our medical courier service, with chain of custody on each handoff.

Restocking before the dinner rush. Restaurants and shops in West Midtown and Old Fourth Ward run short of supplies mid-day and need a same-day transfer from another location or a supplier.

Getting around the city, and beyond it

Our drivers plan around I-75, I-85, I-20 and I-285 rather than just following the shortest line. When a delivery leaves the city — to Marietta, Alpharetta or Lawrenceville — the same driver keeps going. For regular in-town traffic, ask about contract courier routes; for one-off emergencies anywhere within about 100 miles, use expedited courier service.

Timing matters in Atlanta more than distance. A run from Buckhead to Downtown at 10 a.m. is a different trip from the same run at 5 p.m., and an airport recovery depends as much on when the cargo is released as on the drive itself. When you request a delivery, tell us the latest time it can arrive rather than just “today” — that lets us plan the pickup and route around the busiest stretches of the Connector and give you an honest estimate up front.

If you are not sure which service fits, describe the shipment and the deadline in your request. Dispatch will suggest the simplest option — a one-off run, a regular route, or a combination — and reply by email with a price before anything is booked.
