Contract & Dedicated Routes
Contract Courier Routes in Atlanta
Your Business Needs More Than a One-Time Delivery.
DSD Courier builds contract courier routes in Atlanta for businesses that ship the same lanes every day or every week. You get a dependable schedule and a driver who learns your stops, without buying a vehicle or hiring delivery staff.
What we handle
A contract route is a standing appointment. Instead of booking each delivery, you agree the stops, days and time windows once, and the route simply runs. It suits steady, predictable volume that a one-off courier would be costly to repeat.
- Daily scheduled pickup and delivery loops
- Multi-stop distribution routes
- Weekly store and branch replenishment
- Bank, office and mailroom runs
- After-hours and weekend routes
- Route relief when your driver is out
- Overflow support during peak seasons
- Dedicated vehicle and driver arrangements
How it works
Setting up a route takes a conversation and a few days, not a long procurement process. Most of the work is upfront, understanding how your deliveries really run today, so that the route fits your business instead of forcing your business to fit the route. Once it is running, it needs very little attention from you.
- 1
Map your current deliveries
Share the stops, frequency, shipment sizes and receiving hours you run today, or the ones you want to start.
- 2
We design the route
We sequence the stops, choose the vehicle and agree time windows and service levels with you. Custom SLAs are written around your schedule, not a rate card.
- 3
Trial and adjust
The route runs for an initial period while we fine-tune timing and stop order based on what actually happens on the road.
- 4
Ongoing service and reporting
Once settled, the route runs on schedule with real-time tracking and proof of delivery. Changes in volume or new stops are handled with a quick email.
How a contract route is built and run
A contract route starts with your current stop list: every address, the pickup and delivery windows, typical volume per stop, and the days of the week. We map the stops into a sequence that respects those windows, then agree a start time, a per-route or per-stop rate, and what happens when a stop is added or skipped on a given day.
Routes begin with an initial trial period. During those first weeks we compare actual arrival times against the planned schedule, adjust the stop order where traffic or dock hours get in the way, and confirm who signs at each location. After the trial, the route settles into a fixed schedule with the same driver where possible, so receptionists, dock staff and lab techs recognize the person picking up.
Common contract routes include a lab collecting from eight to twelve physician offices twice a day, a parts distributor running a morning loop to dealerships and repair shops, a law firm moving filings between its offices and county courthouses, and a retailer sending inter-store transfers every evening. Each stop is recorded with a time and signature, which gives you a running record of route performance rather than a monthly guess.
Who we serve
Contract routes fit organizations with a rhythm: the same pickups, the same receivers, the same cutoffs, repeated week after week.
Multi-location retailers and franchises
Stock transfers and supply deliveries between a central warehouse and store locations.
Healthcare networks and labs
Fixed specimen and supply loops between offices that run several times a day.
Distributors and wholesalers
Scheduled customer deliveries that free your own trucks for larger orders.
Professional offices and property managers
Mail, document and supply runs between sites on a dependable timetable.
If you already run your own delivery vehicle, a contract route can replace it or support it. Some customers keep their driver for the core route and use us for relief days, overflow and the far-flung stops; others hand us the whole operation. Either way, you stop worrying about vehicle maintenance, insurance and driver call-outs.
Coverage area
Routes can start and end anywhere in the 20 metro cities below and cross county lines freely — a common pattern is a morning loop through Cobb County followed by an afternoon run up GA-400 or out I-85 into Gwinnett. Because the route is planned in advance, we can include stops that would be expensive to reach one at a time, such as a weekly run out to Gainesville or Newnan. As your business grows into new parts of the metro, new stops can be added to the existing route rather than starting over with a new agreement.

Why DSD
A contract route only works if it is dependable. The value is in not having to think about it — the pickup happens, the delivery lands, and nobody has to chase anyone. Here is how we make that the normal state of things. It also means a single point of contact: when something changes on your side, one email to dispatch updates the route, and the driver on your stops already knows the receiving contacts and the quirks of each address.
No fleet to own
You get consistent delivery capacity without buying vehicles, insuring them or managing drivers.
Custom SLAs
Time windows and service levels are agreed per route and written down, so expectations are clear on both sides.
Room to flex
Add a stop, cover a holiday surge or pause a route without renegotiating from scratch. Urgent one-offs can run alongside on our expedited service.
